This Privacy Policy explains how GOATED AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our services (the “Services”), including the Goated AI mobile application and any related websites, support channels, and features that link to this Privacy Policy.
Contact: If you have questions or want to exercise privacy rights, email support@brightr.app.
Important: Goated AI is a creative tool to generate, edit, and remix images using AI for artistic expression, entertainment, and creative workflows. It is not an educational tool or study assistant.
We do not intentionally collect or require sensitive personal information (e.g., government IDs, precise health data). Please do not upload content that includes sensitive personal data unless you are comfortable with it being processed to provide the requested feature.
Notice at collection (high level): We collect the categories above to provide the Services, keep them secure, improve performance, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or similar jurisdictions, we rely on the following legal bases:
We do not have a Data Protection Officer (DPO) and we have not appointed an EU/UK representative because we are a small, Poland-based individual operator.
How AI processing works: When you use generation/editing features, your prompts, chosen parameters, and any images/files you upload are transmitted to third-party AI providers to generate the output you requested.
Training: We do not use your private gallery images to train our own models. Third-party AI providers may have their own policies; we aim to choose providers that restrict use of customer content and minimize retention, but you should review their terms if you want provider-level detail.
Unpredictable outputs: AI generation is probabilistic and may produce unexpected results. You are responsible for prompts and content you submit.
Opt-out: You can avoid AI processing by not using generation/editing features. You can also request account deletion via support@brightr.app.
Payments are processed by Apple App Store (Apple Inc.) or Google Play (Google LLC). Subscription management may be handled through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
We may receive limited billing-related information such as subscription status, plan type, and entitlement identifiers to enable premium features.
We use analytics and crash reporting (e.g., Firebase, PostHog) to keep the app reliable and understand aggregated usage patterns.
No cross-app tracking for ads: We do not use information collected in the app to track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising. If we ever do so in the future, we will request permission via Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt and update this policy accordingly.
Do Not Track: Some browsers offer “Do Not Track” signals. There is no consistent industry standard for responding to them, so we do not respond to DNT signals.
We are based in Poland, but some of our service providers may process data in other countries (including outside the EEA/UK). Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) to facilitate these transfers.
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Typical retention periods:
If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymize data unless we must keep it for legal reasons (e.g., to comply with law or resolve disputes).
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, and request portability of your personal information. You may also withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
You can exercise these rights by emailing support@brightr.app. We aim to respond within 30 days where applicable. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident and the law applies to our processing, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, and opt out of sale/sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information and do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
You (or an authorized agent) can submit requests by emailing support@brightr.app. We may need to verify your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
If we ever engage in “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as defined by applicable California law, we will treat a valid opt-out preference signal (such as Global Privacy Control) as a request to opt out where required.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at support@brightr.app and we will take steps to delete it.
If local law requires a higher age threshold for consent (for example, certain EEA rules for children), we will honor those requirements where applicable.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. We will update the “Last updated” date and, if changes are material, we may provide additional notice in the app.
